Health and Safety

The Company is committed to high standards of health, safety and welfare for its employees and others who may be affected by its work activities.

It is our intention that the business operates in such a manner as to achieve the following:

  • A healthy and safe environment for employees, sub-contractors and others affected by our activities.

  • The prevention of accidents and ill health at work.

  • Compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and industry best practice.

  • Good standards of health and safety instruction and training to ensure competency of our employees, sub-contractors and others.


To support our internal resources and procedures, we consult and work with independent experts who regularly visit and audit our operations. This way, we continually develop good working practices to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.


As a company therefore, the training we provide is varied, and we are committed to ensuring all our employees receive appropriate, regular, and up to date training.


For example we provide:

  • Statutory training - all employees are required to acquire CSCS qualifications, and comply 100% with all health & safety guidelines.

  • Management Team – As a minimum hold SMSTS qualification for site safety.

  • Professional training - we help our employees reach their potential and achieve their goals through vocational and professional qualifications, e.g. CSSW, NVQ Level 2 in Structural Waterproofing, NVQ Level 2 Ground Gas Protection.

  • Annual Performance reviews reflect and forward plan personal development specific for the role.


Skills training for site employees:


  • NVQ Level 2 – Structural Waterproofing

  • NVQ Level 2 – Ground Gas Protection

  • First Aid

  • Confined space and Top Man Training

  • PASMA – Tower Use

  • IPAF MEWP 3a 3b


We also strongly believe in "on the job" training and learning from the experience of others. Our employees are encouraged to have an attitude that if there is a job to be done, they support their colleagues, and the company to complete it.


Our work takes us all over the UK and as such our employees must be reliable, punctual, and conscientious. Employees should be willing to travel and live away from home some evenings every week.
